What’s your return policy?
We operate a no –quibble returns policy and if you return an item within 3 months of receipt, we’ll give you back the amount you paid for the item (see postage and packing cost terms) or offer an exchange, whichever you prefer, no questions asked.
After this period, until the first anniversary of your order arriving, you can still return anything that does not meet your naturally high quality expectations (things like wear and tear are included, though garments that have been mauled by pets, drawn on by nephews, worn while decorating and so forth, don't qualify).
So if you're not happy, we will give you account credit for the amount you paid for that item. Almost all of you are lovely people and will see this as us being helpful and confident about how well made our clothes are, but there will be a few rotten apples who might look on this as an opportunity to refresh their wardrobe for free each season (you know who you are).
Anyone repeatedly trying to do this will get spotted, and a dim view will be taken, probably resulting in us parting company. When returning goods which you bought using a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly if you fall below the discount/offer threshold, as that discount or offer will no longer apply. Should anything spring a fault in the first 6 months, we will, of course, give you your money back.
If you are a pathological chancer and simply can't help yourself, we recommend trying it on with our competitors instead.
Earrings are non-refundable for hygiene reasons, unless they are actually faulty. With Cowshed products, if the product has been used or the seal has been broken then the whole set is non-refundable.

What happens if I don't like the items or they do not fit?
No problem. Just send the item back to us and, depending on your preferences and stock levels, we’ll either exchange it or give you a full refund. Please fill in and enclose the form attached to your delivery note. You can (if you like) let us know that you are going to send back the item by filling in and sending us the form at http://www.boden.co.uk/cancellationform, but it is not necessary to do so.
I am going away for a month. Can I return the item when I get back?
There is no need to worry as you have a maximum of 365 days to return the goods (although this is reduced to 14 days on sale goods so we can get them back into stock before the sale ends).
Will I get back the original postage and packing charges that I paid if I cancel my order?
If you are in the European Union and you cancel your order within fourteen days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If you paid for premium or express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us. We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the fourteen days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order (although you still have three months to return your goods and receive a refund for the cost of the goods). You can just send the products back to cancel, but if you want to you can use the cancellation form here
Why don't you always offer free returns when most of your competitors do?
We thought about this, but most companies that offer this absorb the costs in other areas – for example putting up the price of their products. We don’t want to do that, so decided to keep things as transparent as possible by letting you know from the offset that it’s our policy to charge for returns. We do sometimes offer free returns during special promotions
How long does it take to process my returns?
We try to process returns as quickly as possible, but, as stated in the catalogue, it can take up to twenty-one days when we’re very busy. Over the last season we have brought down the average time it takes to process a return. We will continue to try and reduce it this season.
How do I return an international order?
The returns process for international orders is the same as for our customers in the UK. Please just send your returns to the address below.
Good news though - if you live in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden or the Netherlands we’ve made returning your items even easier and cheaper through our partner, ReBOUND. To return your order from any of these countries just click here, enter your order number and select the options to return your order. Once you’ve selected your return option and completed payment you'll just need to print the returns label, attach it to your order and take it to the location you selected. It can take up to 14 working days from the day you send it for your return to be delivered back to our warehouse. As soon as we’ve received it, we'll refund your original payment method and send you an email to let you know. We hope to be able to offer returns through ReBOUND in your country very shortly.
